Since were on the topic of baseball, I thought I would introduce (brag) myself.
In 1994 (yr of the MLB strike), our team from a town in Illinois won district, sectional, and then state. We represented the state of Illinois in Regionals, which was in Indianapolis like this years. We went 2-1 and lost the game before the championship to Indiana in extra innings. We would've played MN I think for the championship.
If anyone was familiar with that year at Regionals, I was the one who pitched the no-hitter and hit a home run in the same game, to win 2-0 for Illinois against Kansas. Somehow the ump wouldnt let me have the ball and I have been on the hunt for it ever since.
Well just felt like sharing one of my youth baseball experiences.
