  1. Palming The Ball

I HAVE FOUR YOUNG CHILDREN THAT I'M TEACHING THE GAME TO. PLEASE, SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY "PALMING" IS NOW ALLOWED?????
  2. DO ANY OF YOU USE THE "HEAVY BALL" FOR SHOOTING? I HAVE A NINE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, AND HER SHOOTING RANGE IS ABOUT 5 FEET WITH PROPER FORM. I THOUGHT THE USE OF A WEIGHTED BALL MIGHT INCREASE HER RANGE????
  3. Safe Way To Gain Weight?

SYNWAVE7. THANKS FOR BOTH OF YOUR REPLIES. I WILL TAKE YOUR ADVISE AND BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE WEIGHTS. I LOOKED ON THE EAS WEBSITE EARLIER, AND THERE SEEMED TO BE SOME INTERESTING STUFF. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH MY SON IS THAT HE IS ALWAYS ACTIVE, FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, AND HE DOESN'T SEEM TO EAT ENOUGH. I ALWAYS FEEL BAD ASKING HIM IF HE'S EATEN ANYTHING. I DON'T LIKE SEEMING LIKE I'M ALWAYS NAGGING HIM. THANKS AGAIN!
  4. Safe Way To Gain Weight?

MY SON IS 11. MY BIGGEST CONCERN IS THAT IN OUR FOOTBALL LEAGUE, THE WEIGHT GOES UP TO 140. IT'S A LITTLE TOUGH TO WATCH THE KID GET CRUSHED. (YEAH I KNOW THAT'S WHAT THE GAMES ABOUT!). I REALIZE THIS IS NOT SOMETHING I CAN CHANGE QUICKLY..........I WAS HOPING FOR NEXT YEAR. HE DEFINITELY HAS NO IMAGE PROBLEM, HE THINKS HE'S GOT BIG MUSCLES!!!
  5. Safe Way To Gain Weight?

MY SON PLAYS MIDGET FOOTBALL. HE'S 5'3" AND WEIGHS 90 LBS. ANY ADVISE ON SOME WAYS FOR HIM TO GAIN WEIGHT?
  6. Why No Weights?

FROM ALL I'VE READ ABOUT CHILDRENS WEIGHT-LIFTING, AS LONG AS IT'S DONE IN A SAFE MANNER, IS PERFECTLY O.K., FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. WHY IS EVERYONE HERE SO AGAINST IT?????
