However, what I was struck by was how your opponents' DEs constantly bit on your reverses/fake reverses leaving that sideline wide open. At my YMCA league many of the kids are coached to not move at all, and as recommended by JohnP2--to just let the play unfold in the backfield and let the ball cross the LOS before making the tackle or joining in the pursuit. My DEs killed us in our last game last Sat. by deserting their posts. Despite trying to coach them up during the game, I should have made personnel changes, but being 1st game of the season, was alot of things going on.
