13-14 Division

I will be having our first week of practice in a division I have not coached in for over ten years. I plan on speaking to the boys during the first 5 minutes and then breaking into practice.

Stretching, 2 light jogging laps, and hitting ground balls are some of the things I will start off with. I plan on allowing each player to take practice at the position of their choice for the first practice only so I can both evaluate their skills and give them a fair shake at that spot.

What suggestions do you have for evaluating and first week fundamental drills?
