Hi everyone!
I'm starting a new team in Sweden.
And i'm starting
1 Peewee team (8-13) [9man]
1 U15 (14-15year) [11man]
1 U19 (18-19year) [11man]

The core in every team is made out of players i allready coach in another team right now.

So this is big for the little town i'm starting in, i got a big amount of money for the start-up, and looking for sponsorship where 2 companys allready agreed.

Now i'm looking for the best coach material (DVD, Playbooks and ordinary Books).
And where i can find experienced coaches in america that maybe can think about coming over to Sweden for maybe a Training Camp or maybe Head Coaching you'll never know and the sky is the limit.

The last part is where i can buy the best and cheapest equipment (50helmets, 50 pads and so on) also where to buy the best and cheapest Jerseys and other training equipment.

If don't got the answer to everything please answer something anyway.

Thanks for your help.

I-Formation And Pro-Set Youth Football Playbooks

I-Formation and Pro-Form Coaches Football Playbooks
Two terrific football playbooks when utilized together can arm a football team with an explosive offense.
The I-Formation is great for power plays up the gut gaining 2-4 yards a carry and wearing out a defense physically. This is a universal formation which all youth players should learn. This formation is used by a majority of teams from youth, jr. high, high school, colleges, and pros. Even if it’s only used for 3rd and short or goal line situations, most teams and players know this offense. This is a great formation if you have beef and strength. Pound, Pound, Pound utilizing clock and controlling time of possession.
You can attack both sides of the field and the defense can’t key in on one player. It keeps a defense honest and always guessing. Misdirection, counters, options can easily be run smoothly out of this formation along with dives and powers.

What Is The Best 11 Year Old Tackle Offense

I've been a coach for many years at the high school level, but now coach my son's tackle football team. Last year the boys were small, new to tackle, and we utilized Cisar's single wing. (WE GOT CRUSHED EVERY GAME). My QB was very, very slow, and the offense was so readable, that we only made 4 first downs all year.

I don't want to repeat the year, but I do like the aspects of the single wing. It's easy for the kids, the direct snap was very successful, (I don't like qb behind center), and with some confidence and skill, they could have done better.

I'm looking for maybe something similar. I've looked into the wing t and like it's misdirection, but don't like QB under center.

I personally think the double wing is too complicated for this group.

I'm half inclined to just go I formation, but I keep reading horror stories about how easy the defense can crush this.

IN CLOSING. what do you all recommend, why, and possible sites to get more information.

As a high school coach I ran I formation, with much success...but again...these are untalented 11 year olds.

New Defensive Coach Wants Input!

Hello Everyone,
I got wrangled into helping coach my son's 5-6 yr old football team last season. I was then basically volunteered involuntarily to be the defensive coach about three games into the season. Of the other four coaches none seemed comfortable in doing it. The last half of the season we gave up less points than any other team in the league, except for the eventual conference champions. But we still lost all of our game's late because of turnovers. Our defense averaged playing almost three quarters of each game because our offense stank. My problem is, is that they have asked me to do it again this year for the 7-8 yr old's, and up until last year all I had ever done was watch football. I never played and learned the inner workings of the game, let alone thought of teaching it to anyone. I have been a basketball coach fro several years and have had a good bit of success, but I came into this without a clue. I don't want to cheat these young men out of opportunity because of my lack of knowledge-it isn't fair to them. I do know how to coach kid's, just not in this format. I have been doing some major research for months now learning everything I can about the game before this season rolls around, but I would appreciate any input some of you veteran's might have. I am leaning toward running a variation of the gap-8, because of it's simplicity, talent level of offenses at this age, and also because we play in a predominantly run oriented conf where the sweep reigns supreme. I know from my basketball experience that the simpler the better, and more effective for kids this age. I only plan on having two or probably three defensive sets out of this gap 8, and am planning to limit the shifting to only a select few players that possess the skill and intelligence. Please tell me what you think. Thanks!
