  1. Can anyone give me any good ideas and or websites for defenseive schmes for 9-10 year olds that is not too complex. I am one of the assistant coaches on my sons Pop Warner team this year and I will prolly be incharge of defense. I have not coachedfor 2 years and the D I ran for 7-8 year olds will notowork at this level I dont think. any help would be great THANKS!! ROLL TIDE!! from the Frozen Tundra!!
  2. Well shoveling snow would be good but he has not been long getting over Viral Pnemonia and we have had to keep a good eye on him concerning the cold but he is wellknow and next snowstorm he will be out shoveling!!! Thanks for the advice
  3. Thanks for the help I am trying (when its not snowing) to work out with him outside pushups and laps before and after. He has the build of a Wr or maybe a TE so I am working on him catching and running routes and getting football smart.!! This summer he will be cutting grass and raking leaves and etc etc..I may get him some youth weights to work with a little too
  4. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on helping my 9 1/2 year old son getting stronger in his upper body and arms and legs. He has a pretty good size frame 4'6-7 and about 85 lbs but he is not that strong He played football 2 years ago in Alabama where we used to live but was not able to play last football season because we moved to Green Bay Wisconsin and all their slots were full when we got here. He played DE in BAMA and he loves football. He has played basketball 3 years in a row and he still has trouble with having enough strength to get the ball up to the basket. I just dont know how to help him get stronger. I think if he were stronger it would help him be a better player and have more fun. If anyone has his suggestions please let me know.
