I always use down- set- hut and on set the RB goes in Motion. Same as Texas D

At this age it not about winning, it is about learning the game! You may find out he is a better RB then QB. Let your son play were the coach wants him to play. Maybe next year you can coach and then play him at QB. He is only 7!

I am looking for new sayings during practice to get the kids fired up! We use "r u fired up" "fired up" " I can't hear you" Some stuff like that. Anyone have some good ones I could use?

I coach 5-7 yr olds and we run shotgun pro-set all day. We play 9-9 flag and you have to run shotgun!

Sounds like you're on a good path! I would start the 1st practice looking at your players and find out who plays where.
