    New Qb

Thx for the tips but he has one BIG problem, hes not very tall, he cant look over the O-line so we make him do rollouts on most of the passing plays, he is a great cannon and a good team player but still he feels very small on the field when he plays with the 13year olds but still he has 4 years left in this age group. I have to tell you that in sweden we dont have school teams, if you want to play football you have to find one on your free time. Recivers are no problem i was at the rookie training yesterday and i found a couple of players that could join the team now (we are 11-4 this season, and playing our 3rd finals next saturday) we came in fourth in the whole country but thats not my acomplishment, they are a great team and good athletes all of them. you know any good websites with some good drills?

    New Qb

I coach peewee football in sweden at the age of 9-13 and my current team is filled with 13year olds and therefore they are getting to old, Ive started to train a new QB with my only 9year old on the team and next year he will lead a bunch of rookies most of whom are his friends from school. I myself have never played skill and I got my last QB (who was my first) from an older coach, so my job has been easy. Now I have to teach this new kid, Kevin how to move like a QB how to act like a QB he has got a strong arm for a 9year old he has made throws up to 25-30 yards but hes short and has a problem looking downfield, I could need some help on how to teach him to move his eyes and get a good look at his passing options, ive started to teach him how to make his dropback and how to do a rollout he knows how and he does it good but he still needs to learn to read the defence better and to find his recivers quick. We play in a leauge where there are no blitz and the only one who are allowed to tutch the QB behind the LOS are D-linemen and he out runs most of the older kids already.
  3. This is true, so i should just keep it simple and use the basics, well okey. My age group might be difrent from yours over there to peewee fooball in sweden is played between the age of 9-13 and they all play in the same team. Yes this means that a 9 year old could face a 13 year old on the field wich kinda destroys the whole idea of "swedish peewee rules are safe" we have the rules so that injuries is kept on a minimum
  4. Hi as you probably noticed in the title im a football coach from sweden, I have coached a team for about a year now and our season have been going great, the problem is that all of my players are getting to old for peewee football and since I came in as head coach by their last year I dont know anything about building a team and how to distribute the nessesary basics of the game for them to play. And because I will have a completely new group of kids this means I have to make a new playbook because the old one was made for older kids that both are stronger and faster. So im asking for Webpages, books, tips, drills, and for my playbooks making prehaps formations, the swedish peewee rules are a bit diffrent from the regular ones you play with 9players 3 linemen is minimum but you can have as many players on the los as you like, you have to have 5 men on the los before the snap and no reciver can get locked (dont know if you call it locked but I use the word for lack of better) , no cut-blocks (no blocks under the wasit at any time except on the ballcarrier)
