I'm desperate seeking buying advice on Youth Catcher's equipment. This is my son's second year in little league and next year he'll be moving up to the 10-11 age group in our league. He's caught this season and did such a fine job behind the plate he secured an invitation to play with the leagues travel team. That season will continue up to the end of July. I promised to get him an outfit of his own but have no idea what I'm looking at. I'd like to get something better than the league equipment each team is issued for the kids to use, but something not so expensive I'll take a unnecessary hit when he outgrows the set. The boy is growing like a weed. So far I've been looking hard a the Mizuno Samuri line, the Easton Natural line, something called Rhino (not sure whose that by). I just could use any help and advice from folks more familiar with the equipment.
