I coach a team in a 5 man league. It seems that all of the top teams in the league run a base 1-3-1 zone defense (1 rusher, 3 men across the middle about 7 or so yards deep and one centerfielder, about 12-15 yards deep, giving help over the top) and switch to man on the goalline. Heading into the playoffs I'm looking for solid plays aimed specifically at beating the 1-3-1 zone defense that those top teams run. The rules of the league are: -pass rusher from 5 yards out, center has to get out of this way -QB can run except in the redzone -No Blocking -Fumbles are dead balls Any help would be much appreciated!
