I have found out that the girls don't pick up the offense plays as quickly as defense.
I try to put plays in for them, but they get confuse during the game as to if they are playing offense or defense.

So as coaches we need to keep it as simple for them as possible so they learn quicker, & not lose their confidence.

I would agree. I think that you can teach any team to play defense. If you focus on defense and transition offense you don't have to worry that much about running a half-court set offense.
