I use a tool called roster clipboard for soccer coaches. Fairly simple tool, but does make it easy to track who has played where... http://Roster Clipboard for Soccer Coaches

try http://www.soccertutor.com/, they have a couple of stuff which i have not tried,still reading reviews on it - good luck and let me know how it goes
