Hi Coaches,
I would like to correspond with other coaches that coach at the 9-10 yr old level to share ideas and strategy . I have coached at this level for 7 straight years now and feel I am moderately knowledgable but I would love to learn from others who like me love coaching (PEANUTS) Thats what I call'em because they look like peanut characters like CHARLIE BROWN with the big helmets and little bodies.(ha! ha!) Thanks guys I have already learned so much in the past 2 days on this website and will be a regular user of it over the next few months I find this site to be extremely valuable and will tell other coaches in my league (BRUNSWICK, GEORGIA) about it.    Coach Roy

I have small fast backs that get rag dolled on sweep plays in practice. Our season starts next week and I have noticed we have had success running our sweep plays when the little guys cut block the linebackers.
Now when we run the sweeps the linebackers are worried about the cut blocks which slows them down and allows our backs to turn the corner. IS THIS BLOCK LEGAL OUTSIDE THE TACKLE BOX?
