Good
drill to improve ball handling techniques and keeping the head
up for passing.
Procedure:
Minimum of two players spaced 5-8 feet apart (depending on age
and skill level). Each player has a basketball and one has a
wiffleball or ping-pong ball. Dribbling with your strong hand
with proper form, you underhand pass the ping-pong ball back
and forth while dribbling. If you miss the ping-pong ball dribble
to get it and continue the drill. Switch to your weak hand and
continue the drill.
