Youth Track and Field Drills - Greyhound Drill

Purpose: Great drill to work on speed and endurance.
Procedure:

One runner starts at the beginning of the 100 meter dash mark. The partner lines up at the 50 meter dash mark. The first runner begins to sprint as fast as they can and when they close to within 20 meters of the partner, the partner begins to sprint. The first runner tries to run the second runner down. They walk back for recovery and exchange positions.
