oaklain 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 I am coaching a 7-8 year old team this year, and the league mandates a 5-4 or 6-3 defense outside of the red zone. My thought is to run a 5-4 and play my studs in the LB position, and my speed as corners. I am assuming there will be very few passing plays, and almost none over 10 yards at this level.
