NFL FLAG Nationals to Air on ESPN, ESPN2 and NFL Network

The NFL FLAG National Tournament of Champions will be showcased during a 30-minute show that will air on three different networks in March.

Fans can tune-in to ESPN on March 7 at 3:30pm EST, the NFL Network on March 14 at 9:00am EST or ESPN2 on March 25 at 7:00pm EST to catch the journey that three teams took to become National Champions.

San Francisco 49ers Linebacker Takeo Spikes and Philadelphia Eagles Long Snapper Jon Dorenbos host the show, taking viewers through the weekend of NFL FLAG competition.

I have to admit I'm very curious to see the types of plays they run. But a part of me thinks this is not so good. Once you start putting kids sports on ESPN its going to get way too serious and be all about winning. I suppose it would be OK for older kids like 14+ but I'm worried about the younger ones. It's similar to what has happened with little league and the little league world series.

My assistant happened to catch this, said it was pretty intense with the kids calling their own plays, wristbands, and a deep shotgun snap that pretty much made the rush ineffective. Sounds similar to the basketball tourney our kids played in last weekend.
